Do you
remember physics class? Sound is a pressure wave with a frequency range between
20 Hz and 20,000 Hz. We divide those frequencies into:
Lows (Between 20 Hz
and 2,000 Hz)
Mids (Between 2,000 Hz and 10,000 Hz)
Highs (Between 10,000 Hz and 20,000 Hz)
A quality sound system requires that there be a balance
between the lows, mids, and highs. A good system also provides a way to adjust
the volume levels of each frequency range depending upon the number of people
in the building. The wattage of your speakers and the position of your speakers
is very important.
