It doesn't stop until dawn, so make sure you have your dancing shoes on.

The Wave Trump Marina Hotel & Casino 1 Castle Boulevard Atlantic City, NJ 08401 (609) 441-8511. The Wave is the closest thing to a nightclub you'll find in any casino. The mood is dark; it's never very brightly-lit. There are plenty of tables surrounding an average sized dance floor. There are two bars and waitress service is available. The DJ spins dance music every night. On the weekends, bands take over the stage. The crowd is tough to predict - sometimes, it's older, sometimes, they're well dressed, and sometimes it's casual. One thing is for sure: they all love to dance. Young and old alike will be putting their best foot forward. Wednesday night at the Wave is Latin Night. Bring your wallet. Even though there is no cover, the drinks are really expensive.

Black Cat Tavern 1 North Shore Rd Absecon, NJ 08201 609-641-2323 You can't miss this popular tavern on the White Horse Pike, near the Absecon train station. The sign out front is a 30-feet-tall illustration of a black cat. But, in this case, it isn't one of those black cats that brings bad luck. The tavern has been in business since 1933 and its present owner, who had the sign put up, has been in charge for 22 years. Inside, the tavern has a dark, Colonial look. There's a bar that seats 30 people and tables for at least 30 more patrons. Live bands play country, blues or Top 40 on the weekends. The Black Cat is open every day from 10am to 2am and draws plenty of regular customers, most of them middle-aged. The kitchen serves up lunches and dinners and is open until 1am. A happy hour runs from 5pm to 6pm daily with domestic beer specials. The Chelsea has just started Karaoke on Saturday nights for those with a little talent (and those with none, of course). De Feo's Lounge 29 S. Missouri Ave Atlantic City, NJ 08401 609-347-7780. Is probably one of Atlantic City's best kept secrets. Wedged between Caesar's Casino and Trump Plaza, it's a neighborhood bar in the true sense of the word. Nothing fancy here. No outlandish decorations. Just a room of wood paneling and mirrors that help accent the wooden bar in the center of it all and good clientele. When you walk in, you get the feeling that everyone's a regular and everyone knows everyone else. A happenin' jukebox kicks out favorite tunes, a DJ spins on Fridays and Saturdays and the locals test their lungs (and our ears) with Karaoke on Sunday. The kitchen serves traditional bar fare i.e. soup & sandwich specials, Cheesesteaks, and Buffalo wings. Like I said, there's nothing fancy about the place, but when you feel like you're among friends, who needs it?
